IGHG Male Gonadotoxicity Surveillance Recommendations

Recommendations for surveillance in male survivors who are at risk of impaired spermatogenesis, testosterone deficiency or physical sexual dysfunction

Male childhood, adolescent and young adult cancer survivors treated with chemotherapy, or radiotherapy, or surgery involving reproductive organs have an increased risk of impaired spermatogenesis, testosterone deficiency and/or physical sexual dysfunction.

Because of this high risk survivors may benefit from surveillance.
